We were very excited to be awarded winner of the category for excellence in Agriculture food and drink at the South Norfolk and Broadland business awards in March this year. This was generously sponsored by Woodforde’s Brewery.
The judges were very complementary about John work towards developing the business at Chet Valley Vineyard. They said:-
““John has developed the site in recent years using unique techniques and methods in his production process with sustainability at the heart of his business. He also works with local schools and businesses to plant trees on site and supports local charities including Horatio and Priscilla Bacon. John has a great plan for growth and has looked at how he will overcome each obstacle as he grows to ensure the business runs without any interruption. Part of this growth is to open the vineyard to the public who want to “pop down for a glass of wine”, as well as a tasting and conference room for local businesses to use.”
