As part of the Summer wine festival at Bakers and Larners of Holt, on Friday 28th July Chet Valley Vineyard will be the featured as the concluding event for the week. Our beautiful single estate sustainable vineyard sheltered amongst the sun soaked fields of Bergh Apton in South Norfolk spans over 10 hectares of family owned land. Here we grow a variety of cool climate adapted grape varieties including germanic crosses to the classic trio used for making champagne – Pinot Noir, Pinot Meunière and Chardonnay. We benefit from a rich terroir which produces a collection of award winning sparkling and still wines each year. Johns main interest is in sparkling wines but he does also produce some lovely still aromatic whites and fruity rosé wines. Book directly with Bakers and Larners.
