Fantastic news received yesterday. John’s first sparkling wine from the Chet Vineyard, Horatio 2015 Blanc de Blancs Brut has been awarded a Bronze medal in the 2018 Decanter World Wine Awards. We are delighted and chuffed to bits. Just kicking ourselves that we did not enter the blush sparkling Horatio 2014 – unfortunately it was not quite ready earlier this year.
We still have a couple of other competitions to be judged so await further news.
Congratulations to John the Winemaker and here’s to hoping that this will be the first of many awards for his lovely English Sparkling wines and maybe for his still white and rosé wines which are soon to be released on sale.
