‘Meet the Vineyard Managers’ pruning demonstration and training in January including a light lunch accompanied by the winemakers choice of the day (January)
Chet Valley Vineyard pre-release dosage, blending and tasting event (February)
New Vintage Launch Day featuring vineyard tours, tastings of our new wines and lunch at the winery (April)
Conservation and Sustainability day at Chet Vineyard, which consists of a walk around the vineyard with the owner and wine maker John Hemmant who will describe the conservation and biodiversity initiatives of that year (June)
Grape Harvest and Vineyard Harvest supper. This is your opportunity to get stuck in with the picking of grapes and celebrate the harvest with your friends (October)

Lovely afternoon touring and learning about the vineyards and tasting the wines with locally produced nibbles. John is an excellent host and passes on technical information easily. A delightful way to celebrate a 60th birthday with a family group and even better being able to cycle through beautiful lanes in the sun to get there .

John was great the vineyard itself is lovely. Very informative. No pressure to buy anything after. A very relaxed and lovely day, we had blazing hot sunshine also which made it that even more special. Great work guys!

We had a wonderful day at Chet Valley! We hired the venue for a family party and enjoyed food and wine on the balcony overlooking the beautiful vineyard scenery. We particularly enjoyed the Horatio Rose Brut which was very refreshing on a hot summers day. We had an excellent tour of the vineyard with the owner, John who was very knowledgeable about not only the vines and the wine but also the local area and all things nature related. He was also very good with the children in our party. I’d highly recommend Chet Valley Wine and also Chet Valley as a venue to hire.

Don't be deceived by the sunny photo below! A friend and I joined a Chet Valley vineyard tour earlier this year, and despite pandemic restrictions and a torrential downpour that even included hail at one point, John managed to pull off an engaging and fun event. It would appear nothing can dampen his enthusiasm. 😉 Chet Valley has a surprisingly wide range of wines of good quality. So if you are in or around Norfolk - or want an excuse to be - I highly recommend paying them a visit. (Warning: you will probably want to purchase a few bottles too...)
