A marvelous duo of premium Chet Valley sparkling wines in a beautiful wooden presentation gift box. The wines included in this combination are our exceptional House of Hemmant 2021 range – the Blanc de Blanc (100% Chardonnay) and Blanc de Noirs (50% Pinot Noir, 50% Pinot Meunier). Both wines have undergone the Classic British Method – double fermentation with secondary fermentation in the bottle. Box comes with ribbon (colour may vary) and handle for ease of transportation.

House of Hemmant 2021 Blanc de Blanc
A dry wine which exhibits the clean bright linear nature of the unoaked Chardonnay grape. Flavours of apple, pear and citrus. An aperitif also pairing well with canapés, smoked salmon, quail eggs and asparagus.
House of Hemmant 2021 Blanc de Noirs
A dry wine of bright rose golden colour, with red apple and strawberry flavour tones. A great aperitif, but also pairs well with canapés, patés, or with summer fruits.

Lovely afternoon touring and learning about the vineyards and tasting the wines with locally produced nibbles. John is an excellent host and passes on technical information easily. A delightful way to celebrate a 60th birthday with a family group and even better being able to cycle through beautiful lanes in the sun to get there .

We had a wonderful day at Chet Valley! We hired the venue for a family party and enjoyed food and wine on the balcony overlooking the beautiful vineyard scenery. We particularly enjoyed the Horatio Rose Brut which was very refreshing on a hot summers day. We had an excellent tour of the vineyard with the owner, John who was very knowledgeable about not only the vines and the wine but also the local area and all things nature related. He was also very good with the children in our party. I’d highly recommend Chet Valley Wine and also Chet Valley as a venue to hire.

Don't be deceived by the sunny photo below! A friend and I joined a Chet Valley vineyard tour earlier this year, and despite pandemic restrictions and a torrential downpour that even included hail at one point, John managed to pull off an engaging and fun event. It would appear nothing can dampen his enthusiasm. 😉 Chet Valley has a surprisingly wide range of wines of good quality. So if you are in or around Norfolk - or want an excuse to be - I highly recommend paying them a visit. (Warning: you will probably want to purchase a few bottles too...)
