The gift of a lifetime, this exclusive offering allows our leaseholders to try their hand at winemaking, getting involved as much, or as little as they desire. With leasing options from 6 to 15 vines available, Chet Valley leaseholders receive between 12 and 30 bottles of their own wine per year, whilst benefitting from exclusive vineyard access, a free wine flight for 4 people, invites to leaseholder events, and more.

We are delighted to be able to offer three different vine leasing schemes from our Vineyard in South Norfolk. These can be either just still wines, white, rosé, and red, or just sparkling wines or a combination of both – as below – depending on each year’s harvest. Each lease scheme is undertaken over a one-year period. Why Rent Vines at Chet Valley?
Personalised lease certificate
All Chet Valley leaseholders receive a lease agreement with details of the vines to be leased and the number of bottles the leaseholder is entitled to.
Visit your Vines
Explore the Chet Valley Vineyard, check on the progress of your vines and why not bring a summer picnic too? Leaseholders are entitled to wine flights for 4 people per year. The date can be chosen by the leaseholder and the wine allocation can be collected during this visit.
Free Wine Flight for 4 People
Leaseholders are invited to bring 3 guests for a complimentary wine flight. Taste three wines of your choice. Simply give us a call or send an email to arrange a time to visit and you can collect your bottles at this visit if you wish.
Priority booking of events at our winery
As a Chet Valley Leaseholder you will be given priority when booking our events at the winery and vineyard, including a blending event, pruning event, vintage release, sustainability day and the annual harvest.
10% off all Chet Valley wines
Whilst the wine yield from our vine rental packages already constitutes a significant discount, we offer all leaseholders an additional 10% off our full range of Chet Valley wines, both in our on-site shop, and online.
Custom Labelling
We understand the importance of making your wine truly yours. For an additional cost, our packaging specialists are pleased to offer a custom labelling service, allowing you to submit a design of your choice for printing and wrapping.

Lovely afternoon touring and learning about the vineyards and tasting the wines with locally produced nibbles. John is an excellent host and passes on technical information easily. A delightful way to celebrate a 60th birthday with a family group and even better being able to cycle through beautiful lanes in the sun to get there .

We had a wonderful day at Chet Valley! We hired the venue for a family party and enjoyed food and wine on the balcony overlooking the beautiful vineyard scenery. We particularly enjoyed the Horatio Rose Brut which was very refreshing on a hot summers day. We had an excellent tour of the vineyard with the owner, John who was very knowledgeable about not only the vines and the wine but also the local area and all things nature related. He was also very good with the children in our party. I’d highly recommend Chet Valley Wine and also Chet Valley as a venue to hire.

Don't be deceived by the sunny photo below! A friend and I joined a Chet Valley vineyard tour earlier this year, and despite pandemic restrictions and a torrential downpour that even included hail at one point, John managed to pull off an engaging and fun event. It would appear nothing can dampen his enthusiasm. 😉 Chet Valley has a surprisingly wide range of wines of good quality. So if you are in or around Norfolk - or want an excuse to be - I highly recommend paying them a visit. (Warning: you will probably want to purchase a few bottles too...)
