We are proud to offer wine lovers across the UK the unique opportunity to create and enjoy their own fine English wine using our own well-established variety of vines through our range of vine rental packages.

The gift of a lifetime, this exclusive offering allows our clients to try their hand at winemaking, getting involved as much, or as little as they desire. With leasing options from 3 to 50 vines available, Chet Valley leaseholders receive between 6 and 100 bottles of their own wine per year, whilst benefitting from exclusive vineyard access, a complimentary tour, invites to leaseholder events, and more.

We are delighted to be able to offer three different vine leasing schemes from our Vineyard in South Norfolk. These can be either just still wines, white and rosé, or just sparkling wines or a combination of both – as below – depending on each year’s harvest. Each lease scheme can be undertaken over a one-year or three-year period. Nestled in the sheltered, sun-soaked fields of Bergh Apton, South Norfolk, Chet Valley Vineyard’s single estate vineyard spans over 10 hectares of family-owned land, producing a sensitively maintained range of high-quality grapes, from champagne varieties to germanic crosses. Benefitting from the English vineyard’s rich terroir, alongside the skills of passionate winemaker John Hemmant, our carefully curated final bottles form a collection of award-winning artisan English wines year-on-year, from fruit-forward rosés to aromatic whites.

Our expansive land and wide range of well-established vines offer our leaseholders the opportunity to create numerous crates of high-quality wines year-on-year, delivering a truly personal experience from harvest to corking.

All Chet Valley leaseholders receive a beautifully designed, personalised certificate of ownership, featuring further details of the vineyard itself, their chosen vines alongside their precise location, and details of all leaseholder benefits.

Visit your Vines

Explore the Chet Valley Vineyard, check on the progress of your vines and why not bring a summer picnic too? Leaseholders are granted exclusive access to the vineyard and invited to bring a guest on a tour and wine tasting.

Complimentary Wine flight of three wines for 4 people

Leaseholders are invited to bring up to 4 guests on a complimentary wine tasting. You will have the opportunity to try three samples of any of the wines we produce at Chet Valley Vineyard.

Invites to exclusive leaseholder events

As a Chet Valley leaseholder, you’re invited to take part in our annual harvest, meet the team and pick your own grapes. We also hold several other events throughout the year which leaseholders can attend for free, such as our pruning day, blending event, launch of new vintage, and sustainability day.

10% off all Chet Valley wines

Whilst the wine yield from our vine rental packages already constitutes a significant discount, we’re delighted to offer all leaseholders an additional 10% off our full range of Chet Valley wines, both in our on-site shop, and online.

Custom Labelling

We understand the importance of making your wine truly yours. For an additional cost, our packaging specialists are pleased to offer a custom labelling service, allowing you to submit a design of your choice for printing and wrapping.

Browse Chet Valley Vineyard’s range of artisan sparkling and still English wines, handcrafted using distinct varieties of cool-climate grapes grown in our family-owned English vineyard here in South Norfolk.

The grape varieties grown at Chet Valley Vineyard include Solaris, Phoenix, Schönburger, Chardonnay, and Seyval Blanc grown alongside reds such as Pinot Noir, Pinot Meunier, Cabernet Noir, and Regent, using traditional techniques optimised to our British terroir. From our award-winning Charmat-style ‘Skylark’ wines and flagship Méthode Champenoise, ‘Horatio’, to our varietal stills including our ‘Redwing’ rosé, there’s a bottle in our range to suit every palate.
